The city of Rafina

It is a densely populated area in the center near the harbor but has large areas with parks and green areas, like two large beaches, the first by the port and the second is the most popular beach of Marikes in Avlaki in the south near the border with Artemis. It is very close to Artemida via Arapinos Street where there is the Municipal Swimming Pool of Rafina and the holiday resort Meltemi also in Avlaki. Today, Rafina is a suburb of Athens, thanks to Attiki Odos, which improved access from the city center as it merges with Marathonos Avenue in neighboring Pikermi. In recent years, it has grown considerably, as more and more ferry lines have chosen its port.
